FREMONT, CA, USA, June 30, 2021 / — NEXCOM, a leading supplier of network appliances, proudly announces that its latest uCPE—DTA 1164W—has successfully attained results and passed tests to be deployed in both 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) network environments. DTA 1164W is a desktop entry-level uCPE, designed ready to meet requirements of AT&T Open Compute Project (OCP) specification for customer premises equipment. Powered by Intel Atom® C3000R series CPU, with 8 LAN ports for multi-connectivity and PoE+ function, DTA 1164W also supports 5G FR1, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5 and 6, and features TPM and Intel® QAT for enhanced security.

For testing in 5G NSA mode, existing network architecture built by the biggest mobile service provider in Taiwan was used, and DTA 1164W delivered satisfactory results, corresponding to the requirements for 5G upload and download speeds. As for testing in SA mode, a 5G SA base simulator was used instead. Again, DTA 1164W did not fail the expected functionality and proved itself as a qualified appliance not only for current network infrastructure, but also for future network over a long-term horizon.

5G has been already rolled out all over the world, but it mostly operates based on existing 4G LTE network infrastructure while 5GC networks are being built in rapid speed to drive new revenue streams for service providers globally. DTA 1164W, an all-inclusive 5G uCPE, proven in NSA & SA modes, can be easily adopted for fast deployment as the best choice uCPE.

What’s a cookout without the perfect steak?

With our compliments, here’s one way to make a perfect seared steak on a gas grill. (For more tips for grilling, visit
1. Choose a quality cut, 3/4- to 1-inch steak with moderate marbling, which tends to enhance flavor, juiciness, and tenderness.
2. Generously season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.
3. Let the steak come up to room temperature (about 1 to 2 hours).
4. Pre-heat your grill to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
5. Set a timer for 1 minute.
6. Quickly open the grill lid and place your steak on the grill. Be quick so you don’t lose heat (you are trying to sear each side of the steak to lock in juices and flavor).
7. Close the lid and start the timer.
8. After one minute, lift the lid and flip the steak. Use tongs or a metal spatula. Don't use a fork. You don't want to pierce the meat and let juices escape.
9. Reset and start the timer for one minute.
10. When the timer goes off, reduce the cooking temperature to low-medium and open the grill cover (take your time so the grill temperature drops).
11. Flip the steak and rotate it 90 degrees before placing it back on the grill (this will give you nice "X" shaped grill marks).
12. Close the grill and start a timer for 2 minutes (rare to medium/rare), 3 minutes (medium), or 3.5 minutes (medium-well). Avoid cutting the steak to check for doneness. Instead press on the meat with your finger, taking care not to burn yourself. While this method may take some trial and error, essentially when a steak is done “rare,” the finger poke feels soft to the touch; for “medium,” it is pliant but somewhat firm (like pressing against the meaty part of the palm beneath your thumb), and for “well,” the steak feels solid to the touch.
13. When the timer goes off, open the grill and flip the steak again, rotating it to achieve the aforementioned x-shaped grill marks.
14. Reset the timer and finish cooking the steak for two, three, or 3.5 minutes depending on the level of doneness desired.
15. When the timer ends, turn off the grill and remove the steak. Place it on a clean platter (not the same one you seasoned the steaks on unless it's been washed).
16. The steak will continue to cook off the grill. After a few minutes, it will be ready to serve! Bon appétit!

NAZARETH, ISRAEL, June 30, 2021 / — Optima Design Automation, a leader in next generation functional safety and IC-security verification, today announced that the internationally-recognized testing organization TÜV NORD has fully certified its entire functional safety platform for use in ISO 26262 semiconductor verification projects.

Following an extensive evaluation, the Optima-SA™, Optima-HE™, Optima-SE™, which make up the Optima Safety Platform, have been certified to the highest tool qualification level of the ISO 26262 standard. This enables the use of the Optima Safety Platform within the development of automotive safety-critical applications with an integrity level up to ASIL-D.

Most connected dashcams today send video data via RTMP to a content distribution network video server which then transfers video and audio data to the viewers, thereby incurring costs associated with server development, setup, management, and bandwidth usage. TUTK’s WebRTC-based P2P video streaming solution with support for JSON command can be easily embedded into web-based fleet management platform for instant live view from any browser without a middle server, thereby significantly reducing costs and simplifying the solution’s adoption. The solution has built-in support for DTLS and SRTP for data encryption and message authentication which ensure data security. It also has fast data transfer and provides ultra-low latency.
